If you are reporting a problem, please include your device model, your iOS or Android version and the screen where it happened. To report a wrong or closed spot, the spot's name and neighbourhood are enough.
Common questions
Why do I need an account?
So that the people adding and confirming spots are real parents and the map stays trustworthy. You sign up with email and verify it through a link we send you.
The verification email didn't arrive.
Check your spam folder first. If it isn't there, tap Bağlantıyı tekrar gönder (send the link again) on the verification screen. After clicking the link, return to the app and tap Onayladım (I've confirmed).
I forgot my password.
On the sign-in screen tap Şifremi unuttum (forgot password) and enter your email; we send you a reset link.
The map doesn't show where I am.
Location permission may be off. Turn it on in Settings → Bebek Molada → Location on iOS, or Settings → Apps → Bebek Molada → Permissions on Android. You can still pan the map by hand without it.
I don't see any spots around me.
Spots load once the map is zoomed in far enough, so try zooming in. Clear any active filter. At the moment only Istanbul is covered.
How do I add a new spot?
Pick the place on the map and enter its name, amenities and place type. If the same place is already listed close by, the app shows it to you so it isn't added twice.
What does “confirm” do?
When you visit a spot and find it's still there, confirm it and optionally leave a short note (“baby room on the 2nd floor, next to the lift”). You can't confirm a spot you added yourself, and you can confirm the same spot at most once every 12 hours.
A spot is wrong or no longer exists.
Send its name and neighbourhood to the address above and we will check and fix it.
Is my name shown on spots I add?
Yes, the name on your profile appears as “Added by” and on your confirmation notes. It doesn't have to be your real name; you can use any name when you create your profile. Your children's details are only ever visible to you.
Does the app cost anything?
No. Bebek Molada is free and supported by ads. There are no in-app purchases.
How do I delete my account?
Open the Ayarlar (Settings) tab and tap Hesabımı Sil (delete my account). If you can't get into the app, follow the steps on the Delete Account page.
