Common questions

Do I need an account?

No. Mindathlon has no sign-up and no login. Open the app and play.

Does it work without internet?

Mindathlon checks for a connection when it starts, because the app is supported by ads. Once you are past the launch screen the games themselves need no connection — you can finish a marathon on a plane. If the check fails, tap Try again once you are back online.

Where are my scores stored?

Only on your device. Finished marathons are saved with their difficulty and total time, and shown under Scores in the main menu.

How do I delete my scores?

Open Scores from the main menu and tap Clear scores. Deleting the app also removes everything it stored.

My scores disappeared after reinstalling. Can I get them back?

No, and this is by design: nothing is uploaded anywhere, so there is no copy to restore from. Uninstalling removes the app's local data permanently.

How do I change the language?

Main menu → SettingsLanguage. English and Turkish are supported.

What is the boost bar?

Each stage has a par time. Finishing under par charges the bar — the further under, the more charge. You can spend that charge on hints later in the run.

Can I quit a marathon in the middle?

Yes, but the run will not be saved: your time and progress are lost, and the app asks you to confirm before quitting.

Are there ads or in-app purchases?

There is one full-screen ad at the end of a completed marathon, and no in-app purchases. Ads never interrupt a stage and never appear on a timer — the run you are playing is never cut into.

Why does the app ask to track me?

On iOS that prompt decides whether the advertising identifier may be used to pick ads. Decline and everything still works; the ads just become less relevant. You can change your answer any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android, the equivalent controls live in Settings → Google → Ads. The privacy policy spells out exactly what is collected.
