What we store, and what the ads collect
The game itself keeps everything on your device — we run no servers and never see your scores. Mindathlon is free and paid for by advertising, and those ads are served by Google AdMob, which does collect data about your device. This page covers both halves, and how to limit the second one.
This is written to your device's local storage. It is not uploaded, not backed up to us, and we cannot see it. Clear it any time from Scores → Clear scores; deleting the app removes it permanently.
One full-screen ad appears at the end of a completed marathon. Never during a stage, never on a timer.
Ads come from Google AdMob. To select and measure them, Google may collect:
Google handles this data under its own terms. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from apps that use its services. We receive only anonymous, aggregate revenue reports — nothing that identifies you.
We ask Google to keep the ads shown in Mindathlon at a general-audience content rating.
Declining does not restrict the game. You keep every stage, every difficulty and the whole scoreboard — the ads simply become less relevant.
Mindathlon checks for a connection when it starts. Past the launch screen the games themselves run without one; the check is there because the app is ad-supported. No gameplay data is transmitted at any point.
When you finish a marathon you can tap Share. This opens your device's own share sheet with a short line of text containing the difficulty and your total time. Nothing is sent until you choose an app to send it to, and where it goes from there is governed by that app's privacy policy, not ours.
Mindathlon is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Apple and Google collect their own download and usage statistics as part of running those stores, under their own privacy policies. We receive only anonymous aggregate reports.
Mindathlon is suitable for all ages but is not directed at children, and it is not enrolled in the Kids Category or Google Play's Families programme. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child's data has been collected through the app, write to us and we will look into it.
Data-protection laws such as the GDPR and Turkey's KVKK give you rights to access, correct and delete your personal data. We hold none ourselves: the game data sits on your device under your control, and the advertising data sits with Google. To exercise rights over the advertising data, use the controls above or contact Google directly.
If a future version changes what the app stores or transmits, this page is updated before that version is released, and the effective date above changes with it.
